On June 12, 2025, Matterica's documentary series Obschak: Russia's Most Powerful Crime Syndicate screened at Beat Film Festival in Moscow. The event was supported by GES-2 House of Culture and marked the series' festival premiere — three months before its wide release on OKKO.
About the screening
Beat Film Festival is Moscow's annual documentary film festival. In 2025, Obschak was included in its main programme. The screening presented a single episode of 25 minutes, with support from GES-2 House of Culture. The festival's film page describes the OCG as a "Russian cartel" — the most feared and influential criminal organisation in the country.
